Diazepam is more popularly known as Valium. Diazepam’s main function is to help manage anxiety disorders. However, doctors prescribe Diazepam for the treatment of agitation, shaking, and different kinds of hallucination during drug dependence withdrawal or alcohol withdrawal. Side Effects

Using Diazepam may lead to different side effects. These include drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects are normal for sedatives. However, if you mix diazepam with alcohol, it may lead to you to increased sedation and decreased reaction times. For starters, it is not advisable to drive or to apply certain physical activities when you are sedated. Diazepam is also used for treating seizures. who are around you in the event of an attack will know what to do.
